Nicole's first race for
Univega-Raleigh saw her come in 8th as the
opening World Cup race of the year ended in the expected sprint.
The Univega-Raleigh Team had Christiane Soeder
in a mid race break trying to add to her stage win from the
Geelong Tour earlier in the week. Oenone Wood also featured
in the group that was reeled in on the 7th of 8 laps.
Wood then launched a powerful attack on the final climb, but
Univega-Raleigh dragged her back only for
T-mobile's sprint train to deliver the win for Ina Teutenberg. |

my new Univega Raleigh Lifeforce team mates."
